Description
A two-piece in ivory lace — a long cardigan with a ruffled front edge and wide trousers cut from the same lace. Bought together it reads as one piece rather than a coordinated pair, which is the point: the eye follows an unbroken column from shoulder to hem.
Fabric & feel
100% polyamide, made in Italy by Motel. The lace is worked in a dense floral repeat and holds its own shape, so the cardigan hangs open without curling at the edge and the trousers keep a clean line instead of collapsing. There is no stretch — the fit comes from the cut, not the fabric.
Fit & sizing
The cardigan is long, falling below the hip, with a ruffle running down the open front and no closure. Trousers sit at the natural waist and run wide and full to the floor. How to wear it
Photographed as the full set over ivory, which is the version that looks deliberate. Care
Delicate wash, cold. Lay flat to dry rather than hanging wet — lace stretches under its own weight when heavy with water. Steam to release creases and keep an iron away from the lace itself; if you must press, do it on low through a cloth. Fold with tissue between the layers so the open work does not snag on itself.
