Lime Cotton Cardigan and Tank Top Set
Description
A two-piece in a clear lime — a short button-through cardigan with a matching tank underneath, both in the same cotton knit. Worn together it is a top; worn apart it is two, which is most of the argument for buying a set.
Fabric & feel
95% cotton, 5% polyamide, made in Italy by Vicolo. Almost entirely cotton, so it breathes properly rather than trapping heat the way an acrylic knit of the same weight would; the small amount of polyamide is what stops the buttonholes and the tank straps stretching out. The knit is open enough to be a genuine summer piece.
Fit & sizing
The cardigan is cropped, buttoned to the front, with long blouson sleeves gathered at the cuff. The tank is cut to sit just under it, so nothing shows below the hem when they are worn together. Convert Italian sizing with the fit and sizing guide.
How to wear it
Photographed as the set over check trousers, which is the version that earns the colour — lime is strong, so put something quiet and patterned below it rather than another bright. Split the pieces and the tank goes under a blazer while the cardigan goes over a white dress. Cream, camel, denim and brown all take it. Care
Delicate wash, cold, and wash the set together so both halves fade at the same rate — with a colour this saturated that matters more than usual. Dry flat, reshaping the shoulders; never hang a wet cotton knit. No dryer. Steam rather than press.
