Description
A pleated maxi skirt in a blue and green check — a Scottish-looking pattern in colours that are unusually easy to wear, because the green keeps the blue from reading as school uniform. It comes with its own belt.
Fabric & feel
100% polyester, made in Italy by Tensione In. That is what holds the pleats: a polyester of this weight keeps a knife pleat through a full day of sitting and standing. Matte surface, no sheen, so the check reads as texture rather than costume. The belt is included in the package.
Fit & sizing
Sits at the natural waist and falls to the ankle, pleated all the way round so it moves in a column rather than a bell. The belt marks the waist, but the skirt holds its shape without it. Convert Italian sizing with the fit and sizing guide.
How to wear it
Photographed with a plain dark green knit, which is the trick with a check this size — pull one colour out of the pattern and repeat it on top, and the whole thing reads intentional. Care
Dry cleaning only, per the label — and with pleats that is genuinely the right call rather than a precaution. Steam between wears to keep the folds sharp. Never press directly with a hot iron; polyester glazes. Hang from the waistband, on its own, so nothing crushes the pleats sideways.
