Ivory Sequin Knit Top
Description
A short-sleeve knit top in ivory, worked with sequins across the whole surface so the shimmer sits inside the knit rather than on top of it. It reads as a plain fine-knit tee from across a room and as something else entirely once the light moves — which is exactly the point for an evening that starts at dinner.
Fabric & feel
79% viscose, 21% polyamide, made in Italy by Vicolo. The viscose gives it a cool, fluid hand and the polyamide holds the knit together around the sequins, so it drapes instead of standing away from the body. The sequins are small and matte-backed — no scratch against the skin, no stiffness through the shoulder.
Fit & sizing
Cut close but not tight, with a round neck and short set-in sleeves that finish above the elbow. It sits at the hip and tucks cleanly. If you are between sizes, the knit has enough give to take the smaller one. Italian sizing converts through the fit and sizing guide.
How to wear it
Photographed with a black leather skirt, which is the easiest contrast — something matte and structured below, shimmer above. Care
Hand wash, cold, per the label — the sequins are what make a machine a bad idea. Do not wring; press the water out between two towels and dry flat, reshaping the shoulders. Never tumble dry. Steam from the reverse if it creases, and store folded rather than hung so the weight of the sequins does not pull the shoulders out of shape.
