Ivory Midi Skirt with Sheer Lace Panel
An ivory midi skirt built in two parts: a cotton upper skirt that stops around the knee, and a sheer lace panel that carries the length down to mid-calf. The effect is a long skirt that stays light — you get the coverage without the weight of a full lining.
Fabric & feel
The top skirt is 100% cotton; the underskirt is 98% polyester with 2% elastane. Made in Italy by Dixie. The cotton gives the upper half body and opacity, and the polyester underskirt is what lets the lace hang straight instead of clinging to the leg. The lace itself is fine and open, so the shift between the two halves reads as deliberate rather than as a hem that ran out.
Fit & sizing
Sits at the natural waist, straight through the hip, finishing at mid-calf including the lace. The sheer section means a slip or nude shorts are worth having if you want it fully opaque in strong light. Convert Italian sizing with the fit and sizing guide.
How to wear it
Photographed with a plain black knit tucked in, which is the contrast that makes the lace visible. Ivory takes black, camel and denim on top, and one plain colour above is always better than a second pattern. A pointed flat suits the length better than a chunky sandal. More on the skirts rail.
Care
Delicate wash, cold, in a mesh bag — open lace catches on zips and hooks. Dry flat rather than hanging wet, since the lace panel will stretch under the weight of the water. No dryer. Press the cotton half on low and steam the lace from a distance; a hot iron will melt a fine synthetic lace.
