Cream Cotton Crochet Lace Top
Description
A cream crochet lace top — sleeveless, with a paisley-pattern openwork and a scalloped hem. The structure of the crochet means it holds its shape without needing a lining; the cream tone reads soft against warmer skins. A piece that bridges the gap between knitwear and dressier tops.
Fabric & feel
52% cotton, 48% polyamide, made in Italy. The cotton gives the dry, matte hand; the polyamide is what keeps the openwork from sagging and holds the scalloped edges in shape.
Fit & sizing
Sleeveless tank-line cut, sits at the natural hipline on a 5'7" model. Wide armholes; crew neckline. Some give from the cotton's natural stretch but not a lot — size to body. The scalloped hem adds approximately 1" of finished length.
How to wear it
Layer over a slip top for opacity, or wear directly over a fitted camisole for visible texture-on-texture. Pair with high-waist linen shorts and tan slides for an afternoon at Mar Vista; with cream trousers and gold hoops for a boutique-pickup look.
Care
Delicate wash, cold, with a mild detergent. Reshape while damp and lay flat on a towel to dry — never hang openwork wet, it stretches at the shoulders. Skip the dryer. If the scallops need settling, press on low through a cloth.
