Paisley Print Satin Wrap Maxi Skirt
Description
A wrap maxi skirt in a satin-faced viscose, printed with a blue-grey paisley and finished with a deep burgundy border along the wrap edge. The border is what makes it: it draws a line down the front and stops a busy print from reading as a bedsheet.
Fabric & feel
100% viscose, made in Italy by Tensione In. The satin face gives it the low lustre and the weight gives it the fall — this is a skirt that moves in one piece rather than fluttering. Fit & sizing
True wrap construction, tied at the waist, so it adjusts across a range of sizes and can be worn higher or lower on the waist depending on how you fasten it. Full length to the ankle with an overlap at the front. Convert Italian sizing with the fit and sizing guide.
How to wear it
Photographed with a plain grey satin camisole, which is the right instinct — one plain tonal piece above a printed skirt. Pull the burgundy out of the border with a wine-coloured shoe if you want the outfit to look considered. Denim works on top too, more casually. See the rest of the skirts.
Care
Delicate wash, cold. Viscose weakens when wet, so lift rather than wring, reshape and dry flat in the shade — direct sun fades a print on satin quickly. No dryer. Steam or press on low from the reverse; a hot iron on the satin face will leave a permanent shine.
