Tan Woven Soft Wicker Maxi Tote

A hand-woven maxi tote in warm tan cognac, cut from soft Italian leather with rounded top handles and a drawstring top that lets the shape relax or pull in. The intrecciato-style weave gives it real depth and presence — roomy enough for a laptop, a water bottle and a folded scarf, with a removable zip wallet tucked inside. Fabric & feel

The body is 100% genuine leather, woven by hand into a close intrecciato pattern over a soft, unstructured base. Because the cognac tone is dyed through the hide rather than printed on the surface, everyday scuffs settle into the patina instead of standing out. The leather softens with use, so the tote slouches a little more easily the longer you carry it.

Fit & sizing

Measuring 15" wide x 7.9" tall x 6.7" deep, this is a true maxi — sized for everyday and weekend carry rather than a small evening bag. The top handles clear the shoulder, and a longer strap is included for a relaxed, low-slung carry. Inside, a single compartment gathers shut at the top, and a matching removable zip wallet keeps cards and keys from disappearing into the depth.

How to wear it

Cognac is the easiest neutral in a warm wardrobe — it sits naturally against cream, white, pale denim, navy and olive. We like it with linen wide-leg trousers and a simple tank for a downtown Sarasota afternoon, or with a striped Breton and white jeans for lunch by the water. Its scale also makes it an honest beach tote: a towel, sunscreen and a paperback disappear inside with room to spare. Prefer a quieter colour? The same style comes in sage green.

Care

Wipe with a slightly damp, soft white cloth and let it air-dry away from direct heat. Treat occasionally with a colourless leather conditioner to keep the weave supple.
