Description
Camel wide-leg trousers with a low sheen, pleated from the waist so the volume starts at the hip and falls straight to the floor. Camel is the colour that does the most work in a wardrobe built on cream, navy and black — it warms all three without introducing a fourth decision.
Fabric & feel
91% viscose, 9% polyester, made in Italy by Vicolo. The viscose is what gives the fabric its fluid drop and its faint lustre; it moves like something heavier than it is. A belt comes with the trousers. Matte-adjacent rather than shiny — it catches light along the pleat and stays quiet everywhere else.
Fit & sizing
High-waisted, with front pleats and a wide leg cut long enough to break on a heel. The waistband is fitted, so take your true waist measurement rather than sizing up for the leg — the volume is already built in below. Italian sizing converts through the fit and sizing guide.
How to wear it
Photographed with a fine brown knit tucked in and the belt fastened, which is the proportion that works: something close-fitting above, everything loose below. Camel also takes ivory, chocolate and denim blue. For evening, swap the knit for a silky camisole and add a heel — the hem is cut for it. More on the bottoms rail.
Care
Delicate wash, cold, and dry flat — viscose loses strength when wet, so lift rather than wring, and never hang it dripping. No dryer. Press the pleats on low from the inside, or steam them back while the fabric is still slightly damp. Hang from the waistband to store so the leg does not crease across the knee.
