Light Blue Knitted Wide-Leg Trousers
Description
Wide-leg trousers in a fine light blue knit — soft as loungewear, cut like tailoring. They come from the same Barbara Alvisi knit as our short-sleeve jacket in the same colour, so the two can be worn as a set or entirely apart.
Fabric & feel
67% viscose, 33% polyamide, made in Italy by Barbara Alvisi. The viscose gives the knit its cool drape and the polyamide holds the shape — which matters more in a knitted trouser than almost anywhere else, since this is the fabric that would otherwise bag at the knee by lunchtime. Fine gauge, matte surface, no cling.
Fit & sizing
Elasticated at the waist and full through the leg, falling straight from the hip to the floor. Because it is a knit, it gives across a range of sizes; take your true measurement rather than sizing up for comfort. Convert Italian sizing with the fit and sizing guide.
How to wear it

Care
Delicate wash, cold, and dry flat — a knitted trouser hung wet will grow an inch in the leg and never come back. No dryer. Steam rather than iron; a hot plate flattens the knit's surface and leaves a shine down the front of the leg. Fold to store.
